The year is 1901. A young William S. Harley has just finished his first blueprint of an engine designed to fit into a bicycle. It is a small engine. Just 166cc with 102mm flywheels.

On any day of the week, in a small machine shop on the north-side of Milwaukee you would find Harley and his boyhood friend Arthur Davidson working diligently on this dream. They were convinced they could put their small motor into a regular bicycle frame. In 1903, after two years of hard work and with the help of Arthur’s brother Walter Davidson, the Harley-Davidson Motor Company was born.

A true American success story, Harley-Davidson has become one of the most recognized and respected names in the world of motorcycles.

Today you can dress up this great American bike with our American made Moto-Gripper Mounting Solutions.
